COVID-19 brought numerous challenges for HR and Comp professionals as we’ve surfed through State mandates, business closures, remote work, and new work processes over the last 2 years. Just when we think it’s time to breathe a sigh of relief, look out for another wave! Inflation and wage growth, availability of talent, and changing social norms are contributing to a host of issues that affect our ability to hire and retain talent. Compensation, amongst other HR initiatives, is an important component of an HR strategy that delivers great talent at a sustainable cost.
HICOMP is presenting an exciting 3-part mini-series to include a deep data dive into general compensation strategies, a local expert’s perspective into some of our more pressing issues here in Hawaii, and a call-to-action in the form of a round table for all members to bounce ideas off of one another as we build a sustainable future for the businesses we support here in Hawaii.
Session 3 (April 7, 2022 – 10:00 am to 11:00 am)
Grab your surfboard (or keyboard) and let’s take action! Now that we have discussed strategies both on global and local scale, let’s talk story about some of the things we can do now or may have started doing to ride out some of our current economic and workforce challenges.
